The Work Modeler provides the ability to create Business Groups, attach data sources to business groups, create work models to organize, manage and monitor the work load, apply selection, exclusion, grouping and sorting criteria to work models in order to fine tune the account pools to be worked, and attach workers to specific account pools. Other functions permit managers to quantify worker activity in Auditor, monitor and track worker productivity, and evaluate the effectiveness of work models being employed. All of these functions help managers ensure that work, workers and work flow is contributing to the bottom line in an optimum manner.
Traditional tools fall far short when it comes to making obvious the types of selections that should be made, the cost of a selection choice to the worker’s assigned to it, and the ability to dynamically shift work, ongoing, without any major change in configuration. The Benchmark Work Modeler includes the following functionality:
These capabilities provide much more control over how work is categorized, assigned and tracked. Combined with built-in productivity tracking utilities, managers have the opportunity to maximize the results of revenue improvement programs. The work pool concept allows managers to assign, group and sort accounts into pools of work that are prioritized and assigned to groups of workers, rather than defining a static list of accounts that is assigned to a specific worker (although you can facilitate this one-to-one assignment with the work pool approach). Weights can be assigned to activities on a work group basis. This permits managers to evaluate specific work distribution strategies. Combined with performance metrics included in the DARRT applications, managers can more accurately evaluate worker performance based on how they worked, rather on just how many items on a list they worked.
