We prefer batch files to come with the following characteristics:
The columns and data need not come in any particular order. If these specifications cannot be met, we have the flexibility to accept other approaches, but that may extend the overall implementation time to do the added potential for error.

Benchmark typically sets up a Secure FTP website with encryption for the deposit of files. Our clients automate their own extract process and place the files into our directory.
For HL7 feeds, or a shared-drive arrangement, a VPN can be employed for an additional fee.
No other special connection is required.
Users access the Benchmark product via Microsoft Internet Explorer via standard HTTP or HTTPS ports.
